Week of 5-23-11

Blocks 1-3 will be quizzing Wednesday on sections 8.1 and 8.2. Monday a worksheet 8.1/2B is Hw, on Tuesday Hw is page 325 to prep for the quiz (most will get done in class), Wed-Fri will be bookwork from sections 8.3 and 8.4

Block 6 is working through chapter 10. 10.1/2 will be Monday, 10.3/4 will be Tuesday, Wed will cover 10.5/6 Thursday review and Friday Quiz/Test.

Many students are getting summer fever but they need to continue to bring supplies (pencils/calcs/paper) to class!!!

This week of 5-16-2011

This week all classes will be working with trigonometry. Monday we will go outside and attempt to calculate the height of two-liter bottle rockets. Homework will be to write a paragraph on the experience.

Project work of this type is graded on participation.

Tuesday we will work on other life scenarios where trig could come in handy.

Wednesday we may go outside to try our skills with the Estes rockets.

Friday there will be a quiz covering trigonometry.
